Ending Diagonal In Progress?
Heads up guys,
Possible ending diagonal playing out on the Euro/Jpy. Gbp/Jpy is showing similar pattern, buts its more prevalent on the Euro/Jpy. What do you guys think?

USDCAD has pulled back close to the weekly trend line it penetrated... There is a possibility it may break higher from here... Be careful if shorting... Here's a possibility for USDCAD if we're tracing out a correction. (Just an idea.. nothing concrete) Some food for thought

Ok lets have a look at the long term count... I think it will deffinately shed some light on things here... It looks like this move we had down from the high last year is an "A" wave in a bigger pattern.... We can now expect a "B" wave upward to atleast the 61.8 area... However this is the great thing about "B" waves if you catch them early enough, they have the potential to reach as far as 123.6, 138.2, or even the 161.8 fib extension.. So with that in mind.. This new wave upward could penetrate the prior high... We have to watch for support anywhere from the 61.8 fib and higher to take profits on longs..

I hear ya italm...this is the same count I've got right now. A rally to 12958 seems likely given that that level is both the 61.8% of the drop from 13777 and the 100% extension wave a from 11640...but then the hammer dropsAttached Images

EURNZD has crossed the support line to the downside... We could now be heading towards 1.7500 in wave "D" of a triangle.Attached Images

Hey guys,
Its time again for me to be talking DOOM and Gloom which I haven't talked about in a while. We all know the Stock market is a leading indicator with what will happen to the economy in 6 months or so. Well heres a picture ellioticians are all to familiar with. We may be about to enter the MEAT of wave 1 down. The almighty wave III of 3. Happy thoughts, happy thoughts! A drop below 12608 without making a new high for the day is the trigger needed. Although not seen in the chart, the Dow is presently back up to the 200 hour moving average where resistance seems to be strong.

Oops forgot a chart ... Don't want to forget this one ... ChfJpy could correct lower as I've shown in the previous charts...(You have to consider the possibilities) But I would say with the momentum built up on the monthly chart... and if in fact this is a large wave 5 down diagonal triangle that ended in the year 2000 ... I would say price is more likely to break out to the upside and fast ..... To complete Wave "A" where the diagonal triangle started... Way up by the 157.00 area... I'm actually glad I looked at this pair... I think there is a great long opportunity here... And this pair is still a carry trade on the long side Attached Images

I took a few fibonacci measurements and I think this wave 3 could end around 135.00 before a wave 4 correction...Attached Images

Be careful with AUDCAD. This 5 waves up might be a c of a B. OF course the ABC might be the end of the correction. We haven't started moving 5 waves up impulsively yet..unless this 5 waves IS the start of the impulse. You can't count that huge move up as an impulse because of the other historical data which came before it.


They ABCDE is called a running expanding triangle.

Eur/nzd - Short But Getting Scared
Well yes I am short EUR/NZD while waiting for the long bullish run to get started - influenced by Jaime's pdf on February 1. I entered as everything collapsed on Friday at 1.8741 - a gingerly 1 lot and am already getting spooked by the leveling off of the MACD Hisogram just as price meets the critical 1.8510 level and the 200 SMA on the Daily Chart; I always get spooked so easily as if I'm looking for the first indicator to warn me to get out.

The 10/20 SMA's are still down which I interpret as them telling me to hold on.

Am I pushing my luck?

chfjpy entry Here's a look at CHFJPY again... I am looking to enter this pair long at 95.40 and 92.20 if it gets that low, ..... First Target is the the 261.8 fib extension at 113.72 .... Second Target is the 423.6 fib extension at 135.00.. Looks Like Carry Trade All The Way Too ... Roughly 4000 pips... Not Bad...
