Pattern Looking for help on this. This is my first atemp at projecting reversals. Does it looks right?

I've been watching alot of different pairs on the 1hr timeframe, and this AUD/CAD chart appears to have a Bearish GARTLEY pattern right now.

I was just watching the action in the reversal zone when I suddenly realized that I can't even trade this pair with my broker (OANDA)! DOH!

Oh well, it will be interesting to see how this plays out as the two wings have very good measurements but the time spacing is not that good.







Looks like a nice BEARISH GARTLEY setup right now for the EUR/USD.
Keep a lookout for the reversal.

If it turns into a BAT pattern then, the first reversal zone should be between 200.17 to 196.56 (aprox.).

If it fails to reverse there, then the next reversal zone will be between 162.06 to 150.54. (Which would make it a crab pattern.)

Now, that's what I would call some serious long term position trading! Wow!

Hey, check out the CHF/JPY chart.

Looks like a Bullish 5-0 pattern has formed inside a Bearish Gartley pattern that is still forming.

This effectively gives us a start zone and an end/reversal zone.

AUD/CAD 1hr chart has a fully formed BEARISH BUTTERFLY right now, also it has formed the first leg of a BEARISH 5-0 pattern. Watch for a reversal - She's in the zone.

Also that EUR/AUD CRAB I mentioned earlier has hit the reversal zone nicely.

Update on the CHF/JPY: Just pulled a conservative 47 pips off the 5-0 pattern to the Gartley reversal zone!

I hate when it just bounces off the very bottom of the reversal zone and looks like it might turn. Take this NZDUSD example right now. Tough decision!

Thanks Karmo.

I went to bed and woke up to see that the price has formed a perfect mini AB=CD (Bullish) from pretty much where I entered. Doesn't leave me alot of confidence but at least it didn't break above the high of the reversal zone range.


Also there may be a Bearish BAT for the AUD/NZD right now if anyone's interested. Although I would generally prefer the pattern to be better contained within the XA range.

Geez, that nzdusd is really pissing me off! Blew right through the rev.zone for the W.W. and now the crab isn't looking so hot...

The EURJPY I posted earlier looks like its in the zone now.

Shoot! I slept through an alarm for a great entry!

Check out the price action in the zone... Now that's what we want to see baby!

(In hind site, I think maybe I should have set my alarm for a lower price level anyway, given the action that happened.)

That's great Karmo! I don't look at charts longer then an hour anymore, too much on my plate already. Also I prefer the short trade period if possible. GL man!

At least it's helping my cursed NZDUSD trade!

This one looks interesting. It blew through the first possible zone for a BUTTERFLY pattern and now it looks like the "last chance" BUTTERFLY zone might be providing some resistance. Best to at least wait for a Bear candle before making a decision I think.

Looks like that GBPJPY might be on it's way to complete #5 point on a Wolfe Wave.

Unless the price breaking through the 2-4 trendline invalidates it? I don't know.... If anybody is knowledgeable on WWs, I would appreciate your opinion. Thanks.

Monthly Trendline Here's a chart showing the monthly chart, I've drawn 2 trendlines that shows us a nice channel, this past week price got very close to the lower trendline and it bounced back up. I have also drawn a monthly fibo retracement, we will have to wait until the end of the month and see where we close, but you get an idea of where the monthly fibo levels are

Weekly chart Monthly = Green fibo levels
Weekly = Blue fibo levels

Looking at the weekly chart now, we can see the price opened the past week just below the 23.6% fibo and went through the 38.2%, 50% and touched the 61.8% but it came back and closed just above the 50%. Plus you can see the 23.6% monthly fibo and the weekly 50% fibo are very close to each other, this should be a good support level. The candle has broken and closed below the weekly lower trendline.

Daily chart Daily = Pink fibo levels

If you look closely, you can see how the price went to the next daily fibo level after it broke and closed well below a level. we had a full retracement on the daily chart this past week. The last candle we have on the daily is a hammer/pin-bar/doji, whatever you want to call it.., price tried to break the weekly fibo's but it failed and it closed just above the 50%. To me this indicates that price will go up to the 231-232 area to test the fibonacci levels we have there.. we'll know next week

4H chart 4H = Black fibo levels

Don't get confused with all the colorful lines, if you are then open up your chart and just plot 1 fibo at a time and look how price bounced off the fibo levels.

I drew this fibo retracement level after I saw it not being able to test the low again, we can see how the price went and tested the 23.6% the first time and failed, but it broke it the 2nd attempt and went straight to the 38.2%, where it was rejected and came back to the 23.6%, It is going to test the 38.2% another time.. next week. We are also in a small downtrend channel.

Charts for Monday's trading This is how I have set up my charts for Monday's trading, these fibo levels are valid unless we make a new low but I doubt it.

Now here's both fib's on the same chart.. both fib levels show us how much will price retrace before resuming downtrends, if price breaks 61.8% fib level and closes above it, then the trend might be changing.. for now it's down
