Yingli Green Energy Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering of its American Depositary Shares

BAODING, China--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Ltd. (NYSE: YGE - News), a leading vertically integrated manufacturers of photovoltaic, or PV, products in China, announced the pricing of its initial public offering of American Depositary Shares (ADSs) at a price to the public of US$11.00 per ADS. Each ADS represents one ordinary share of Yingli Green Energy. The ADSs are being listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "YGE".

The offering consists of 26,550,000 ADSs to be issued by Yingli Green Energy and 2,450,000 ADSs offered by a selling shareholder in a firm offering and an expected 4,350,000 ADSs to be offered by the selling shareholders in a green shoe offering. Yingli Green Energy expects to use most of the net proceeds to increase its equity interest in its operating subsidiary, Baoding Tianwei Yingli New Energy Resources co., Ltd., or Tianwei Yingli, from 70.1% to 73.5%, following completion of relevant PRC registration procedures. Proceeds from the equity contribution will then be used to fund expansion of Tianwei Yingli's manufacturing capacity for the production of polysilicon ingots and wafers, PV cells and PV modules to 400 megawatts each by the end of 2008, as well as for purchases of raw materials and general corporate purposes. Yingli Green Energy will not receive any proceeds from the sale of the ADSs by the selling shareholders.
