It offers antivirus and firewall network security products, which primarily include Security Gate, IPSSS, Secure Channel, and Secure Server. The company also provides system integration services, as well as offers network management products that primarily comprise the BHL LDAP Catalogue Server, BHL Search Engine V2.0, BHL Charging Proxy of Network Expenses, and BHL Rebroadcasting system V2.0. These products are used for automatic abstraction and classification of information influx. CTDC also provides e-business software, which is used in port business, online banking, and online brokerage. The company focuses on developing applications and solutions based on two technology and product lines, extract of bamboo (EOB) and antioxidant of bamboo leaves (AOB). EOB is the biologically active bamboo extractives that are made from bamboo leaves, bamboo shaving, and bamboo shoot, which could be applied in nutraceutical products, such as supplement ingredients; and AOB is made from leaves of a bamboo, extracted by ethanol-water heat cycling extraction, and combined membrane filtration. Its primary components are phenols, such as flavonoids. AOB could be primarily used as anti-oxidant in food industry. The company was incorporated in 1995. It was formerly known as Tramford International Limited and changed its name to China Technology Development Group Corporation in January 2006. The company is based in Hong Kong.
