Living by the sea is a good idea. You look at the tide chart to know if the trend is up or down, then spot the waves to catch swings, then further down the ripples to sqeeze every pip.

Besides, you can also cast out a line off your private jetty to catch a fish or two to complement your trading.

amkr1015, thanks for voting! You embarrassed me----I've been benifited a lot from the books you shared with us. I actually didn't think of vote for you. My bad! In fact, I don't know how to vote.

Just for curious, mind tell us your age? It took me 3 days to finished reading one of the books. I'll grow to be an old lady when I finish all the them. Such a wide collection doesn't seem to come from a young boy in the picture. Quite cute, by the way.

3 days a book is just the first step. After browsing, I would choose one to settle myself down. Then, take the ride till I digest it. This step will take longer time.

You are right----I can fully concentrate on the business at hands.

By the way, one of the book on your list is highly recommended by most of my trading buddies. But you haven't upload it. I'm a bit anxious for the upcoming reading:

Could you plz shine some lights on me for Amibroker?  I am a Metastock guy and have no previous experience with Amibroker.  How does it compare with Metastock?  Codes for articles of S&C for Amibroker looks very simple and easy to use.  

By the way, what format is your historical US stocks?  Is it working for metastock without any conversion or it is for Amibroker only?  Any good place to update the historical data and what software to use?  Sorry, too many questions.  ;-)  Do you have S&C beyond volume 16?  Thx!

Forgive me to jump onboard before you to answer this question.

As to the difference between Amibroke and Metastock, one Metastock guru puts up at his website a sentence something like: "Amibroker is everything Metastock should be".

I was using Metastock for a few years and just switched to Amibroke about a year ago. Basicly, whatever Metastock can do, Amibroker can do too and maybe better. Amibroker can also do a lot more things which Metastock becomes MetaStuck and keeps improving.

AB can read Metastock format directly without need of any conversion. It has an utility called Amiquote which functions similar to Downloader to download data.

With the price only a fraction of Metastock, AB really is good value for money. You may be lucky enough to get it free though :).
