New indicator for 上证指数 (update 11-28-2005)

I played with the 上证指数 over the weekend and developed this oscillator for 上证指数.  The two blue lines are the overbought and oversold line.  As you can see 上证指数 is close to oversold condition but not there yet.  Cross above 1.8 (or below 0.8) will put 上证指数 in the overbought (oversold) condition and once the indictor emerges back from the overbought or the oversold conditions a sell (or buy) signal is given.  If you guys are interested, I will update you once a buy signal is given.

翻个试试看：

周末，我摆弄了一下上证指数，编了个上证指数的摆动指标。两条兰色的线分别是超买和超卖。正如你可以看到的，上证指数目前非常接近超卖的境况，但还没有完全达到。上穿1.8（或下穿0.8）将使得上证指数处于超买（或超卖）。一旦指针从超买或超卖的情况返回，卖出（或买进）的信号也就产生了。如果大伙感兴趣，我会在信号发出时更新并通知大伙。

biobuck兄厉害啊,眼光独到.这其实是一个模糊的趋势指标.如结合其它精确定位指标,那就厉害了.哈哈哈......

I do have DOW data all the way back to 1897.  However, it is in Metastock format and when I tried to convert it to txt file, the download (the convert comes with metastock) can only convert correctly from 1970 to curent.  All the data prior to 1970 are not converted correctly resulting O, H, L and C have a same value.    I emailed the metastock about it and they could not fix their software (lazy).  So unless you are using Metastock, I will not be able to help you much.  I will see what I can do with 香港、台北、日经等各国指数.  I only can get about 2 yrs historical data from my data provider.

小如, THX!  As you stated, your oscillator like many others will stay at the extreme during a strong trending market, hence it is not very useful in picking the major market turning point.  It is good for  trend following.  

Since last year, the indicator has dipped into the oversold zone 3 times and none of them is tradable in my opinion (they did kill a few bulls along they way  I believe).  I can see your chart is speaking the same words:  the bear trend is still strong and no sign of a bottom in sight.   Just be patient and wait for the panic sell-off (when all remaining bulls are slaughtered  and beef is so cheap ...basically people will give it to you for free!!!).  ;-)

THX楼主的分享，这确实是一个好“东西”。到目前为止你只有三个超卖信号，太可惜了。我估计1.8/0.8是统计出来的。
