A suggestion to professor
when a stock goes up too fast, sell it, then set a landmine at lower price, buy it back. Since you are in a retirement account, no need to worry about tax and accounting complication
Since I bought EBAY, I sold it twice, made ~7% and ~5% (today), will try to buy it back
Oracle, sold once, bought back at 2% lower price yesterday
MCD, KO, MO, BK, sold once, all bought back already at lower price
There is a danger of this approach:
Sold some good stock, never could buy it back, sky is its limit in very rare case.
