The EURUSD has broken below the parallel channel line that defined the entire rally from 1.4438. It is possible that a significant top is in place now.

I might be a little confused on which count you are talking about. If it is the EUR/JPY chart you posted earlier, then I believe you were correct.
There are three charts below. The first is just a template showing wave construction. You can see the waves I labled in black. That is a five wave move. Then you can see the waves labled in red. Also a five wave move. When you get back to back five wave moves of the same degree (five up, then five down), that is indicative of a chart that has topped and is heading the other way, at the very least for another five wave move.
Given the long term view (3rd chart) of EUR/JPY, it is clear that price has indeed topped and is now heading lower. Therefore, you are going to see back to back five wave moves. The first five (the upward move) is a truncated fifth wave that completed the very large wave 'C' rally (monthly chart). The next five (downward five), which is in progress now, is the makings of the first wave to the downside. There is no need for a correction between the fives because the entire rally (monthly chart) was wave 'C' of a correction. Hi guys,
Are you watching GBPUSD?
I attach a chart that I believe outlines likely scenario.
Once we'll complete the impulse wave shown on the chart, should I go long?
Basically, what will happen next? A correction of, let's say 50-61.8%, that will take us back to around 2.017, followed by another impulse way down of the same magnitude?
I know that Jamie suggested a good entry point around 2.0028-2.01 zone, which is practically now.

I followed with great interest the discussion you guys had on this Forum yesterday on the topic of the multi-year USDJPY triangle.
While I am agreeing with you that this triangle must be resolved one way or another and ultimately the USDJPY will head lower for wave 5 target of around 80, here is an alternate scenario that is possible.
I am not saying that it will happen, I ma just saying that it might happen, if we analyze the current wave 4 differently.
Basically, I am saying that the triangle might be wave B of the wave 4. In such a case, it will break to the upside and form wave C of wave 4. If it happens, it will be a large move, somewhere into the area of 150-ish.
Any comments?

I agree it's a nice setup but not before another push higher in my opinion. If you look at the internal structure on 4H there are three waves in wave 5 so far which suggest another push higher is likely to complete the five wave sequence. The key level I'm watching is the top of wave (I) at 0.7580. If broken then I'll be looking for an alternative count.
On another note we still see a lot of euro strenght where the cable is more vulnerable. Even if they both sell off I think cable will accelerate faster to the down side then the euro.Attached Imageshttp://www.learncurrencytrading.com/fxforum/attachment.php?attachmentid=12309&stc=1&d=1205184920
On a more serious note though, euro is in its wave 5 of 5. A break bellow 1.5300 will negate that outlook .

Yes, I think eurusd will goes to 1.5560 before it retrace in wave 4. Probably US trade balance result will be the one that cause euro to retrace to Fib 38 of wave 3.

AUD/USD and NZD/USD
Hey Good Morning Guys,
AUD/USD and NZD/USD have started higher and it looks like the moves are impulsive. Here's a possible count for both. The Kiwi count looks better, but they are both moving together so it doesn't really matter. It looks like wave iv of 1 is about to begin soon. In the Kiwi, wave one was 70 points and wave three was 88 points. Those numbers are fairly close to equal, so we could see wave five equal that or even higher.
Of course once wave five is done, the wave two decline will offer a great place to enter.

EUR/CHF Excellent Long Opportunity
The short term price action shows that the spike higher from 1.5617 is impulsive. The entire expanded flat (visible on the daily chart) could now be complete. The smaller wave two retracement will offer a great place to get long for the huge move higher with minimal risk.
For a short term trade, the 161.8% fibo for the small wave one is about 300 points. For the longer term trade, new highs are up at 1.6828, which is just over 1000 points away from current price.

Here's another one.
Short term price action is impulsive in USD/JPY as well. It looks like wave 'C' of the correction is underway now. The count below shows price in wave iii of 5. A move above 103.23 (Wave 'A' High) will be the time to start looking for a top and reversal setup.

Here's a possibility for EUR/JPY too.
There might be a flat forming in place of wave ii on the 4 hour chart below. If so, I'm looking for a move above 159.21 (Wave 'A' High) before we see price turn over and head lower.
The 10 minute chart shows that the rally off of the lows is turning out to be impulsive. According to the count below, price is in wave iv now and should move higher soon.
Any Thoughts?
