9.3-2008 BloodMoney in the WallStreet. Amgen bearish wedge (nice size you´re agree?) I left this one to be very clear off waves, I think it´s exellent example how stockpatterns behave. Size of the bigger bearish wedge is exact 44 $ (high-low).

18.3-2008 NVDA update (I had updated this NVDA often recently). I think market is very boring now,when it takes itself inside of wave 5 as I believe QQQQ does now, there´s no dynamic and real hard direction anymore. You do have those financial crisis stocks and even more mad commodities, but actually Sox / Smh stocks are very lazy to move anymore more downside and only getting minus percent one, half and similiar. Many even try to move upside allready like Intel did today. It´s pretty much waiting game now which one will see truncated fifths and which one still missing wave fives. News are exitement and stocks moves are not.
After all perhaps this is good news, I think NVDA impulse starts to be ready now. Wave 5 size is similiar to wave 1. I draw also 2 bull wedges to pinpoint wedge channel, another one is my own speculation how it might look after a few months. NVDA still missing a bit to reach year 2002 61.8% fibonacci projection as wave 5 most common size is X1.382, but this is enough for me. I would like to still see one day or half that market really loose it hope and would make very agressive bearmove candle to finally finish this SMH/SOXimpulse, but I assume it might takes some days or even weeks.
However, got bored to wait allready with NVDA as marked in stockcharts. However, I don´t think anybody should wait any longterm mammamia rally in here, but for savvy investor market will start to offer very cheap stocks with amazing wave techical setups if you have time to way a few years or even coming summer. Intel seems to be much more clear wave IV and missing wave V, but it´s relative strengh stock nowdays - perhaps one truncated fifth case could be seen with it.

7.3-2008 Comtech Elliott Wave expanding diagonal(s). If one want to see alternate from the very last green triangle in upper stockchart which were breaken you could take and breake last "C" for five smaller impulses which could pinpoint .618 fib projection, because that price would be so close also - I didn´t mark it to the chart to avoid too messy view (in that case 38 $ actual & physical fibonacci would be last down leg before turning up) . Target for wave5 intermediate&minor should follow as x0.382 from wave 3 (minium), seems to pinpoint upper channel resistance.
7.3-2008 Another update with one chart, as wave 2 downside didn´t stop for first fib support I made re-calculation, however at least now I won´t accept this pasted "throw-over" to be part of the wedge pattern because it´s too damn sizy, this is why I have wave "1" in there and still hunting wave 2 to be placed. No change for overall wave structure, this is just shorter timeframe wave mathematics (which I don´t usually post). This is very small change, just draw wave 2 to get a bit deeper as in the lower chart. Watch if triangle holds and if not then most likely complete wedge is just missing wave 5. However, price dropped today approximately to this exact line.

6.3-2008 A bit bigger bearish wedge. This is what I call "asteroid hit the planet", however even this size bearish patterns also offer even upside room for a while and it really take times until this size of bearish patterns will be completely solved out, but note that most likely only minor/cycle 1 impulse will be finished in here and still there´s risk for more deeper fib projections for first wave, but it´s better to follow smaller pattern as major one might come more agressive not before 2010. My NTAP charts were quite similiar as this one, but good to remember that this size patterns have even room for several seasonals & positive EPS surprizes while stockprice takes corrective upwaves. However, do not expect price never to surf inside the wedge anymore, lower wedgeline should behave as resistance after this smaller wedge will point to the upside. I will also post now-on live daily stockcharts which you´ll see after my post for individual assetts.

17.11-2007 I think Linear Technology stockchart have something very important to tell us. I am pretty sure stock will kick this level up, but even much more important as temporary pricepattern behaviour is that stock also stays at least inside in this bigger triangle, I would admit this will be breaken at some day. However, also shorter timeframe wedge formed stockpattern should support price now together, even stocastic, relative strengh, cci extera...oscillators won´t conform story yet. We have pretty massive numbers of big names priceticks just about above more major fibonacci support lines, google also made 38% fib projection on friday - far too many of them now to post all those charts. I will however post the biggest one´s if face any during the weekend while I will do programming, but I do highly recommend to stop for Linear Chart number 2 to think about it moment. This is big SOX and SMH Index name. If one want to consider more room to downside and we would take all-time-high and all-time-low fib projection, then 61.8% fib would be marked as support & turnaround somewhere between 29.80-30.20. At least I would not hunt this kind of movement as naked. This pattern is so huge, it should also open plenty of choices for different exotic derivative views. Note that in elliott wave approach, this is sideways, perhaps even complex zigzag running pattern, hardly any well recognable motive waves in charts after it hit the bottom in 2002, when it gets broken and it will, stock should start most likely new impulse waves which means a lot of power and gas to move.

15.11-2007 Corus Bank StockCharts update, lower charts is brand new, wedge is still the same, stock hit around 9 $ bottom, but actually oscillators starts to turn now, slowly. This is another sizable bullish wedge we have, so, it´s important to follow it, specially now after XLF financial turned up from important fibonacci support line. If you label this as elliott wave motive waves, I think wave 3 were very long in this pattern and wave 5 were the last one down from 15$ to 9$.

9.11-2007 Tessera & Market Update. I posted this chart very recently as bullflag occured in "mad stock chart digest" - which I deleted allready as this site coming quickly too heavy. Very quick update allready, because the neckline got broken immediately. Stock still fighting with SMA200 line and making it very well with this MACD. There seems to be both tech companies in the market now, those who will really take even minus 40% moves and then quite opposite these "SIRF" and "LOGI" movements. Keep watch stock when and if it´s going to hit SMA200 line again, consolidation should starts about there and then would expect uptrend again.
I added this stock today my long portofolio as stock tanked today, added also CREE after -7,5% plunge. At the shortside Citrix + Adobe are my still topholdings. Citrix I added today, even pattern is not so agressive one as Adobe does, Citrix looks alike cup which missing handle now, wedge is wedge also - with more accurate shorttime pricedata, you could make even more perfect timing, it could take a bit time before rising wedge pattern starts to work out with Citrix, but at least this is the one stock you can still spot at the very top after market has plunged most the week. Tessera could be a bit risky bet at the long side, but market is very shaken with SMA200 lines and fakebreakes to downsides could be seen. Any longside should keep very tight stoplosses now.

Fight with SMA-200 line. Unlike clean wedges horizontal triangle does not allways mean the stock is slotmachine and will solve it´s pattern upside. Follow this one closely, if ewi calculation is correctly expressed -this will be angry behaviour. (Yellow shows 200 days simple moving average.) My recommedation is to chart this stock with you own indicators basket. This reminds me a bit NVDA passed case, where stock actually went just below SMA200 to shake stock away of from weak hands and tradingrobots before wave3 started to show it´s action.

Linn Energy is an independent oil and gas company focused on the development and acquisition of long life properties which complement its asset profile in producing basins within the US.
Interesting, I am not sure yet if this charts is correct, will follow it a bit, oil energy prices heading up and company shares coming down, actual price 28$ now which is .618 fib. Do not consider this as immediate candidate to open position, at least yet.

29.10-2007 Wave Update. Target met, this was very clear pattern leaving no open questions. We had pretty done pretty much the first impulse, perhaps missing small wave 5 pattern to the upside (chart making small 4 at the time), but I think this imulse when completed was only just starter of one bigger impulse meaning we had just about passes bigger timeframe wave 1. The passed move was certain price amount of this technical pattern, but should not underestimate what´s ahead of us, if I am right, we will in near future start also impulse 3 to the up.
You might want to monitor this stock during next month or even put alarm for it, first impulse was allready pretty agressive allrea dyleaving no parking places on it´s way, which makes me wonder what kind of movement third impulse might be. I will most likely re-enter position to this stock at very early stage (usually I am allways front of market). The chart is not updated since you can easily spot what I mean as pattern is not complex, if setting actual fibonacci target, take this passed impulse size from it´s bottom and multiple it X 1.618 and there you have minimial target price for wave 3. Once again I warn you, these are not proptrading charts, there´s still smaller 1-2-3-4-5 impulse on progress where price makes handshake now with wave 4. Have a succesfull week, I posted around 6 new charts, updated 7 cases, unfortunately I still forget sometimes to change dates which leaves some of my work for older portofolios where original setup has been found out.

Here´s another mobile stock from China, I think at least backtest possible for wedge upper line, even I have to confess this pattern is not so clear as another chinese one, but should be interesting to see these two future lookks alike.
There´s major difference in technical view as this one is allready out of it´s wedge pattern. Unfortunately pretty big risk involved with this one also, you can draw that wedge upper line higher and if this would be a case then IV wave should be filled pretty much higher as well as wedge upper line meaning chart would miss wave V. Different is however, there´s smaller wedge inside the bigger one, which allready blow price upside.
China USX index has now done even 8% daily movements, so the good news in volalitet is that these pattern should be pretty quickly solved and point direction, perhaps just in a few months time.

It seems market correcting from here recent agressive bull mode so, it´s time to find even more agressive oscillators setups for upside. Take a look at this and now I mean your own oscillators. I would say this is on its way to SMA200 line, at least. I am getting a real lot of buysignals from different robots for this stock. Big picture looks alike a one huge cup-handle, where handle took build as very deep one!
This is very unsual pattern at my experience, since it has fake all the fib retracements pretty deeply also before turned to upside. It´s also not so usual to find 2-3 monts divergences in all oscillators like this one without price makes hardly any upside movements at so far. That longrun macd is absolute beauty.

Note also big picture that wave 3 and 4 has not overlapped each other against of ewi guideline, even they really came this close and wave alternate would be close if overlapping would come as case. Is China quietly offloading the dollar?
Data released by the New York Fed Reserve shows that foreign central banks reduced holdings of US Treasuries by $48bn since late July, with $32bn having been unceremoniously offloaded in the last two weeks alone.
Remember, the Chinese have earned a tremendous amount of dollars through exports to the U.S. Many of those dollars have been recycled back into the U.S. through this lending. Were China to back off its pace of aquisition, or worse yet, begin offloading their 1.3 trillion of dollar holdings, well…. the dollar and U.S. economy would be exposed for the savings deficient and debt addicted dependent it truly is. The dollar will lose even more value vs. other goods and services (that’s inflation folks) and borrowing costs will begin regressing to the mean, if not quite suddenly.
Watch out if the world catches on that China is, in fact, dumping Treasuries.

I think market hold pretty well this week despite the fact it came down, I did expect some size of drop allready beginning of the week, Intel fib retracement was signal for me enough to be carefull so I was surprized it culminated as late as friday. However, there was some powerfull upside movements also. Applix covered charts came up 24% in just one day. Ntes another strong behaviour. Adobe wedge came ready with exact size of wedge (4,5$) to turn down now a bit. I made some scan and noticed most of big stock last candles gives now a sell signal. That stocastic bear cross this high alone tell strong story in Adobe Chart.

30.8-2007 Netease StockChart Update. Small bullish flag occured, bigger picture has not changed since last update which charts are below as well. Stock was amazing volatility during market bottom, I think it went down 10% in one day after reporting to take the HD pattern all the way .618 fib projection. Good oscillators setups.

Netease conference call is ahead us. Let´s take look this high standard deviation stockchart with elliott wave and fibonacci theory approach. I added one more tool to the chart known as famous W.D GANN angels to confirm same support platforms where both fibonacci projections does (50% + 61.8% retracements) stands. There´s plenty of technical events with this stock. Another shot might be more difficult to read for this reason. There´s alternates approach in the charts. These possible fib projection targets for turnaround case presented with 2 different time-zones. Note also that ChinaTechFaith is going to report now, possible elliott wave count located in my catalog. More comments you can spot inside the charts. Also with NTES, we might have new impulse/motive waves ahead of us and not far away for possible turnaround. I do assume my readers comfort with technical events allready as one can see this huge head-shoulder pattern which is not ready in here, right shoulder would not be place until .618 has made it´s way back to this level. You should allways look at bigger timeframe first to get an idea what individual equity is actually trying to tell you.

28.7-2007. Ntap StockCharts Update. We are quickly approaching mentioned bearish wedge bottom line strong resistance. There´s still room even 4$ to upside if needed, but shorter keys are going to behave in here. Stock is now stuck to SMA50 line after amazing rally, but there´s also expanding triangle fibonacci 38.2% just 1,5$ way which might be a key resistance. You really should open that big wedge chart to look stock overall condinition. ElliottWave counted as alternate in last StockChart. You might watch more agressive oscillator setups now-on. 16.7-2007 NTAP StockCharts Update. That was beautifull once again as technical terms, double bottom together with .618 fib projection (with marginal error). Company reported today and it seems stockprice rocketed now up to reach exact 25.56$ where strong resistance exist again as 50%. However, it´s pretty obvisious now that wedge presented before came to end now and actionary wave was taken as reversal. This is very volatility stock indeed to move.
Note that these sizable fiblines are not very small one´s and they really take their actions to nail price either directions as previous charts made their points allready. Smaller timeframe wedge, pointed out in the older chart with elliott wave counting is ended now as one can see, but that wedge is so deep that if you look at it´s size, it does not have to offer actually much room with priceterms, it is just too deep!. If stock can breake this 50% in here now there´s room to roll for 28-29 where more serious fibresistances come to behave again. To consider that SP500 is now approaching targeted SP1400 number which is really first more serious fibline offerring some support for index off its downroll, this might be the case for NTAP, but I am not sure ntap could be a amazing story anymore for bullside as you see the much bigger bearish wedge (5 years chart) get broken allready.
Should NTAP now roll on, most likely it will just hit it´s head to 5 year chart lower trendline floor to drop again, which in fact is most likely next time covering this stock as offering new setup to do something. Well, these charts indeed are bigpictures each of them, ntap is up allmost 10% in aftermarket, so each dollar counts, but I had found that if you´re after big movements, they can be found only using much bigger technicals also and then, you need a lot of data & time. But when actual line target is finally reached, stock movements comes really fast. Shoterterm oscillators are still offering same RSI bullview as mentioned last time, nothing much to add for them now. I need to mention in here once gain, that this 50% fibresistance is taken 2003!, meaning is not small one and get very easily broken to upside for ntap pricetick.
Overall, there starts to be quite many stocks now reaching some targeted tight price levels to make decent reversals, which charts I had posted in here and even more which I haven´t, one you might want to look now ie. NTES now. One which didn´t was Broadcom, thought it might try uppertrendline breake a bit earlier as index, but it´s oscillators took very angry move to downside, well SMA200 is not far away. Actually it seems klac&amat sox twins will take another test from SMA200 also without need to make fakebreake off those big triangles - so overall this is most likely very tradable market now also for shortterm shaken folks. It´s amazing collection of stocks making handshakes now from bothsides with SMA200, Adobe (ADBE) and Autodesk (ADSK) to mention just two from QQQQ. Overall this looks for me that QQQQ correction era and final shake is not far away anymore.

13.7-2007 NTAP StockCharts Update. Time to close shorts if you didn´t do so allready, oscillators are building at least basic basement now. This pattern was absolutely one huge blow-out to downside, small stockcharts added now which points out RSI basement building now. But I need to mention this is not over yet for NTAP, there´s much more to come downside on future, let´s have a look later when oscillators offer also another setup. Let´s give it rest now for a while off the first shock.

Want to see something big from QQQQ stocklist. How about NTAP. Look at the wedge size itself, I mean the bearish one which has been building for years. Stock seems to behave retrace at 23,6% fibonacci retracement levels, but calcultate it´s wedge size! If this correction take it where it should. There´s even small bullish wedge (indeed, very small about 1-2 $). I bet you ca actually find many stocks with bearish wedge size like this if retracement will be taken off&out from millenium climax. However, let´s take a at this one because it starts to act as a candidate for downside break-out allready, also for much smaller timeframe. This is very bearish stock now and powerfull shorting candidate.

Market will rally from here for shoterterm, well, it rallied allredy amazingly, but actuallly some damage has been done allredy for index in the bigger picture, I would not count yet that 38% retracement offers us kean forever keeping platform for this correction. This wedge is broken now and it´s size is not finitto in here, even, I still believe this wedge is too weird case, because there´s no boundary touches to label it - keeping longer term view as bullish and expecting this to get broken upside when times comes. However, drawn some neckline where there could be more stronger plate also with fibonacci retracements. Nasdaq up 60 points from days low, that´s volatility! QQQQ last candle is very bullish one.

13.8-2007 Update TOMO with one Chart, yes, we are flying as estimated, but there´s need now to solve one another channeling range. One might also see as it inverted head-should, not a perfect as left shoulder stands much far too left side in the history, but after all - it´s inverted something. I don´t think this channel will cause more problems either for the TOMO pricetick, should be considered as just another break-out when occurs.

Very interesting situation for TOMO. 50/200 moving averages has just crossed. for this stock also, look at those last 3 candels. I think this stock is going to move very quickly to direction or another as horizontal triangle starting run out of fuel.

13.8-2007 Update with one shot as 2 smaller size wedges behaves and smaller one is behind now. Stock took shortterm fib .618 % + DMA200 as platform to bounche. The intersting thing or thougt what I found out that actual "pennant" as better known in technical world express and to recognice this stockpattern when filled with elliott wave structure as corrective consonats makes it much better way to be recogniable. The smalle wedge looks pretty much more pennant as wedge and consider that fact that it started upper line, it should be small bearish one as it was. Now, the bigger diagonal should start to behave.
10.8-2007 Fib .618 for shoter period offerred support as well as longer term neckline with 200 days simple moving average. Stock trades now at 49.39 $, which is allmost todays new low.

13.8-2007 Update. Case closed as target hit, Fiserv announced that it will buy CheckFree for $4.4 billion in cash and stock hit exact wave5 target. I will most likely start deleting blogentries where and when setup has been traded all the way it flagged. Stock has actually now bullish flag, wonder if there´s will be bigger bid by Fiserv or any another, but not going to hunt this one. Updaded shot below.

Update for CheckFree, perhaps this triangle which broke downside starts to build a real wegde actually. This is one of my favorite setup not matter which pattern there is as we hit 50% retracement together with 200 days moving average. I am hunting a to label small 4th wave to this place, let´s see how indicators with ckfr case on next few weeks. Decent upside potential candidate now-on.

Ryanair, Irish lowpriced airline wave chart. This chart is very important now, if is this wedge fails now as pricetick stands above SMA50 line, then it should be labelled as corretive A should be placed to last bottom, this upside wave would then be corrective b wave and final c would most likely retrace fibonacci .618% at 33.50. This is alternate wave count! In these charts I had labelled another one, which would be very bullish in here and this is the case if this wedge holds now.

Dow drops 400 points,
That´s very cute drop for one day.
Looking today NVDA´s aftermarket reaction and all those stocks really blowed up recently in very short period, it´s really amazing how differently as timing important QQQQ individual stocks makes their wave labelling. To consider that each and every guy in this universum related to fib projection counts now SP500 next turnaround at 1360-1400 corner points that´s mostly likely area where we are heading now to mark one IV once again with Index. Very good index call from Precther & Elliott Wave International also, they really comes up in Media every time, when marketing is turning.
I haven´t chart QQQQ yet in this blog at all, but might do that during the weekend - even, I am not after Index, but should remind me that most likely there will be plenty of stocks on future which will retrace actual golden mean (.618 and 1.618) depending which timeframe each charts.

I added some short shorts via stockscharts to point out that indicators tells the same story was wavestructure, but actually this is pretty slow operation and does not make any sense as you can check them by yourself if there´s specific bigger elliott wave structure stock you´re interested.
There´s plenty of very talent investors and traders in my blogroll posting their stockcharts which I will enjoy to read regulary, but I don´t see what´s the point for me to show all the time what has just happened for indicators as long as they are not wave structured, they just simple confirm that alternate count will not be an issue - and an issue that stockcharts or any other retailing wavemachine does not do very perfectly, the actual wavelabeling. Market is now full of ending zig zags, complex and simply one´s.
Check my July QQQQ list via my catalog if you´re related or concern , there´s a lot of extraordinary explosive candidates. Don´t trust only for waves, after check if oscillators confirm the story and then, even candlesticks or take more advanced fibonacci calculation. They all retrace both, with time and price retracements.
It´s much better I´ll concern for actual waves instead posting the oscillator/indicators content which you can get yourself with just a few mouse click from your own trading software to stockcharts. When there´s very longterm pattern as Minor or Cycle one, even more important to use also your oscillators & indicators, specially if you work with theta (timevalue) products like options.
