Of course every good thing has its shadow----each year, in some certain season, he has to go out of his trading room doing some labor job to maintain his trading envirament. Look:
Living by the sea is a good idea. You look at the tide chart to know if the trend is up or down, then spot the waves to catch swings, then further down the ripples to sqeeze every pip.
Besides, you can also cast out a line off your private jetty to catch a fish or two to complement your trading.

Just for curious, mind tell us your age? It took me 3 days to finished reading one of the books. I'll grow to be an old lady when I finish all the them. Such a wide collection doesn't seem to come from a young boy in the picture. Quite cute, by the way.

Forgive me to jump onboard before you to answer this question.
As to the difference between Amibroke and Metastock, one Metastock guru puts up at his website a sentence something like: "Amibroker is everything Metastock should be".
I was using Metastock for a few years and just switched to Amibroke about a year ago. Basicly, whatever Metastock can do, Amibroker can do too and maybe better. Amibroker can also do a lot more things which Metastock becomes MetaStuck and keeps improving.
AB can read Metastock format directly without need of any conversion. It has an utility called Amiquote which functions similar to Downloader to download data.
With the price only a fraction of Metastock, AB really is good value for money. You may be lucky enough to get it free though :).
